Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Rajang, Bintangor, Sarawak, Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia menawarkan beberapa jawatan kosong bagi pegawai perkhidmatan pendidikan. Syarat-syarat umum permohonan adalah seperti berikut:
Pensyarah Akademik PPP Gred DG44 (Opsyen Bahasa Iban sahaja)
-   Disahkan dalam perkhidmatan
-   Mencapai tahap prestasi yang ditetapkan 
-   Bebas daripada tindakan tatatertib 
-   Lulus peristiharan harta 
-   Bebas daripada disenaraikan sebagai peminjam tegar institut pendidikan 
-   Berada di Gred PPP Siswazah DG44 Hakiki / KUP
-   Memiliki Ijazah Sarjana /Ph.D
-   Bidang pengajaran Pendidikan Bahasa Iban atau yang berkaitan
Permohonan
Permohonan hendaklah dibuat dengan menggunakan borang PPPM1A yang boleh di dapati di mana-mana Institut Pendidikan Guru yang berdekatan. Klik Disini untuk mendapatkan Borang PPPM1A.
Permohonan hendaklah melalui Ketua Jabatan/ Pengetua/Guru Besar dan hendaklah dihantar terus ke IPG Kampus Rajang, Bintangor, Sarawak.
Permohonan hendaklah disertakan dokumen-dokumen berikut:-
  1. 1 Salinan Kenyataan Perkhidmatan yang dikemaskini dan disahkan oleh Ketua Jabatan
  2. 1 Salinan Laporan Prestasi Tahunan bagi 3 tahun terkini yang disahkan
  3. Salinan Sijil/Diploma /Ijazah dan dokumen-dokumen yang berkaitan yang disahkan oleh Ketua Jabatan / Pengetua /Guru Besar yang disahkan
  4. 1 Salinan Pengesahan Laporan Pengisytiharan Harta yang disahkan
  5. 1 Salinan Laporan Kenyataan Tatatertib yang disahkan
Permohonan hendaklah sampai ke Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Rajang, Bintangor Sarawak  tidak lewat 30 Ogos 2016 (Selasa)
Permohonan yang berjaya akan dipanggil untuk menghadiri sesi temuduga pada tempat dan masa yang ditetapkan kelak. Perbelanjaan menghadiri temuduga ini adalah ditanggung sendiri oleh pemohon.

Requirements:-
  • Candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or equivalent and MUST be a Registered Counselor (From Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia).
  • To provide professional counseling session for an individual or group in order to help them in any issues in academic, personal and social problems.
  • To execute and conduct a programs that relate with student’s academic, self-development as well as handling the students’ orientation program.
  • To conduct psychological test to students.
  • Must be able to work well with individuals in diverse group, excellent communication skills, knowledgeable in psychological inventory and experience in workshop and program development.

Nasib Guru Interim Insiatif Pengumpulan Data 90:10 Negeri Sarawak

1. Pada Oktober 2015 JPN Sarawak membuat inisiatif pengumpulan maklumat dengan membuka Borang pengumpulan maklumat graduan IPTA / IPTS (dengan pendidikan/ tanpa pendidikan) yang berminat untuk berkhidmat sebagai guru sekolah rendah / menengah di Sarawak.
2. BERIBU permohonan diterima daripada anak tempatan Sarawak yang mempunyai Ijazah meskipun inisiatif ini dalam masa yang singkat serta kurang hebahan. (Facebook JPN Sarawak mengatakan beribu permohonan diterima – Status Oktober 2015.)
3. Ketegasan bekas Ketua Menteri Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Haji Adenan bin Haji Satem yang lalu mahukan lebih ramai guru yang berasal dari Sarawak mengajar di negeri Sarawak. Ini merupakan salah satu daripada 13 kuasa penurunan kuasa penadbiran yang dikemukan Adenan kepada Perdana Menteri Malaysia.
4. Dasar 90:10 diperkenalkan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak bagi memastikan 90% guru sekolah di Sabah & Sarawak diisi oleh anak tempatan menjelang 2018. Terima Kasih kepada Datuk Fatimah Abdullah (Menteri Kebajikan, Wanita & Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Negeri Sarawak mewakili Sarawak yang banyak keluar di akhbar tempatan memperjelaskan dasar nisbah 90:10 ini.
5. Sekitar Mac 2016 yang lalu di laman web JPN Sarawak telah menyenaraikan 819 calon Guru Interim untuk ditemuduga.
6. Daripada jumlah tersebut 231 terpilih menjadi Guru Interim Sekolah Menengah di Sarawak (Fasa 1) Mac 2016.
7. “Maaf. Anda tidak berjaya di dalam urusan temu duga ini. Begitulah keputusan rata-rata calon yang mengikuti temuduga bulan 12/2016 lalu baru-baru ini. Hanya beberapa calon berjaya temuduga SPP.
8. Sejauh manakah keberkesanan Inisiatif Pengumpulan Data 90:10 bagi merealisasikan 90% guru di Sabah & Sarawak adalah dikalangan anak tempatan dalam tempoh 3 tahun akan datang seperti yang diberitakan ini benar-benar mahukan guru-guru tempatan untuk mendidik anak Sabah Sarawak?
9. Guru Interim ini sanggup meninggalkan kerja lama untuk menjadi seorang pendidik. Mereka telah mendidik selama setahun di sekolah yang ditugaskan. Bagaimana nasib Guru Interim yang ini selepas ini?
10. Ini cerita 231 Guru Interim yang berjaya temuduga daripada 819 calon dipilih, tetapi daripada 231 Guru Interim hanya beberapa orang sahaja lulus. Jumlah yang lulus temuduga SPP agak TIDAK LOGIK. Mun Tok Nan masih ada tentu nya nulong. Mohon JPN Sarawak, SPP, KPM, Menteri Pendidikan bantu Nasib Guru Interim (Fasa 1) Mac 2016 ini.
